Let the Side Effects Begin...

susandennisThere's a woman I work with - one of my clients - who is maybe one of the most annoying people on the planet. She's not mean spirited. She's not overly bright or overly dull she is overly condescending and annoying. She's leaving her job (and my life) at the end of August. Between now and then I'm having to deal with her more and more as she transitions stuff off.
Most of the stuff she's transitioning, I already know. She writes up these 4 page documents where 3 bullet points would do fine. Then she schedules an hour long meeting to 'walk you through it'. We have another of those today at 1. I've been using the tool she's 'training' me on for about 3 years now. It's a tool built to be used by very non-technical people (read PlaySkol level). It would take me less than an hour to show Betty and Jake how to do it.
I'm trying to muscle up some tact to be used today from 1-2. Pissing her off won't buy me a thing.
My old beatup body is really having a hard time adjusting to this new chair. I seriously do think it's more a matter of its being used to the old crappy one and just not being happy about the switch.
We had some lovely rain about a half hour ago but it's gone now and we seem to be climbing our way back up to our little piece of global warming.
