So ... Bobbe called during Elbow Coffee and I sent it to voicemail. She left a long rambling voice mail that amounted to 'can you come help today'. After Elbow Coffee I sent her a text saying I'd be there at 12:30. She replied that 12:45 would suit her better. WTF? Fine. Wouldn't want to inconvenience you. So I went. She has excellent hearing and zero listening ability. She said the front desk lost patience with her last time she went there for help and the IT people wouldn't respond. I got no problem believing both of those scenarios.

She bought a bunch of shit on Amazon. She's got that skill nailed. And now she wants to return it, via the front desk. The Front Desk simply makes a UPS run with any boxes needed to be shipped. Bobbe is under the impression that the front desk has some magic deal with Amazon.

I asked if she has a printer and she said yes. So I showed her how to find the item on Amazon (which she has no prayer of remembering). We went through to print the label. The printer wouldn't print. "I'll have to call that girl to come fix the printer." I didn't even pretend to try and fix it. I have enough trouble with Windows printing, I sure as shit don't know anything about Apple printing. So we were dead in the water.

I feel like when you ask someone to do you a favor, you need to make it as easy as possible for them to do what you are asking them to do. Bobbe clearly thinks differently. I should be more humble and kind and generous. But, I'm not.

I started a new puzzle in the elbow. I'm going back out now to finish the edges.

And in cat news...

It's much more fun to get paid to make printers work. 😇

You've been very, very generous with her. It's a pity that she never learned certain basic social behaviors.
