Calming Kibble
Jan. 14th, 2024 08:07 amEspecially in the mornings, Biggie is very fretful. He wants treats, he wants attention, he wants... But, about a week ago, I started sprinkle dry cat food over his wet food and he's in heaven. He eats the wet food but he scarfs up the kibble like mana from heaven. The vet said it was ok to do so I keep doing it and boy, has he calmed down. This morning, he woke me up as usual. Paw on my nose. I cover my nose with blanket and he goes away and comes back 15 minutes later. He's a feline snooze alarm.
I dished out their breakfast with the kibble and they ate it all up. Then he politely asked for treats which he got and then he settled right down and has not pestered me once. This happened yesterday, too. I like it. He's now sitting on the couch just watching the world.
I did not go swimming today. I may go later and I may not. No good reason. Just because.
I will do puzzling and knitting and TV watching. And whatever else comes my way.
