Great volleyball day. All the players were there except 1. Usually there are 3 or 4 missing on any given day and sometimes more but not today. But some are leaving. Wally's going skiing. Holly's going to visit a friend. Cecil has shoulder surgery scheduled. It's going to be lean for a while. Happily, the minimum is 2 and it just gets better with more.
Today is house cleaning day. I have no plans. I could use some ice cream and some english muffins so I might go get those. Or just puzzle in the elbow. I've got some time to decide. It's also the date of the 3rd floor pot luck. My position is going to that of designated survivor.
I haven't heard from the vet about Biggie's urinalysis. I haven't heard from the physical therapy woman who said she'd contact me yesterday to give me an update.
Sigh.
But I did just get a call from Stiffel, the money management people who handled some of my cousin's investments and then some of mine. They wanted to confirm a new address. I asked if they could keep my account open for a while yet. If the condo sells and the rest of the inheritance comes in, I may want them to help me with some investment money. He said it was fine to keep it open and empty for a couple of years if I wanted so cool.
I finished 2 seasons of Departure (Peacock) and there is a third season that aired outside the US at the end of last Summer but I cannot find it anywhere. Google says it's on Peacock, Apple and Amazon and it's not on any of them. Poop.
My leg is nearly healed and then it hurts again. Last night and this morning. So frustrating. I was able to walk a good bit yesterday without issue so I know it's getting better but I'm not at all happy with the timeline.
Bret says his insurance company may need a lease agreement which is fine. He was going to move the electric and I suggested we just leave it and he just pay my bill when it comes every month. He thought that was easiest and I do, too. I don't know how much he (or rather his insurance) will pay in rent but the HOA and taxes per month come out to $1,200 so anything over that would be gravy. I'm feeling much more comfortable about the condo albatross.
This was yesterday's view. Today, already, there is far less snow even though down here, several thousand feet lower, it not yet above freezing. Weird.
