Someone remarked last week that they find here at the cult, you wake up on Monday and blink twice and it's Friday. I get that. Especially with no volleyball to mark the days. It was Monday, but, I blinked and it's Friday.

Also, the days are getting longer more quickly. I slept til 7 and I could see the light starting already making it seem way later than 7. Then I read that tonight will be our first 5 pm daylight of the season. I'm not a fan of longer days but, turns out, they are inevitable.

I got the Fairlife milk yesterday - I must say, that container is both pleasing to look at and exceedingly easy to use. I do hope it works. I just had a giant, delicious, bowl of oatmeal.

This afternoon is my physical therapist appointment. My leg woke me up screaming several times last night. I sure hope he can fix. I'm very tired of leg hurt. His office is in the same center as the pool so I'll make another visit there. We got a note yesterday that sounded like maybe the pool was not going to open Saturday. :(

I watched a weird show on TV yesterday. In The Know. Peacock. It's a mostly animated show that is a spoof on NPR. I have not watched it in years but Saturday Night Live used to take great skits and them beat them like a dead horse until all the joy was drained. That's In The Know. It's a hilarious spoof on NPR that goes on and on and on and on.... They took a 20 minute sketch that nailed it and made it into 6 episodes. Weird.

Julio has taken to leaving hairballs+ around maybe once a week. And his offerings stain the carpet. I used Folex reliably for years but it was not doing the job. I bit the bullet - even with my strained finances - and bought Rocco & Roxie based on the 4.4 stars from 110,000 reviews. Turns out, those stars were earned. Rocco & Roxie spray on easily and make the stain disappear. It even disappeared one that was a week old.

I'm hoping to get the puzzle finished today. It's mostly there. But now the pieces are either all tree bark or all leaves which have no obvious orientation and kind of all look alike. Time for my old trick of rotating the puzzle so it's up side down and putt all the left over pieces into one pile and seeing with new eyes.

I think this is an occupational hazard of TV comedy skit shows. They have to fill up the time, and there are only so many good (and sometimes not so good) jokes per week. I often found that Monty Python would have something that was really funny for 15 seconds or so that they would then stretch out into a 5-to-10-minute sketch, by which time it had gotten entirely tiresome.
