Not really. It's really more the return of the sunny morning which means my living room gets baked. Morning clouds rock. Morning sun sucks. But the A/C is working and the shades are down and it could be worse so I'm going to think of pleasant things...

Ken Jennings this morning has a new conspiracy theory... Can anyone prove that the cosmetics industry is not behind the New Normal? But even better he predicts the resurgence of the popularity of tooth powder! My grandparents were big on tooth powder. I think it was cheaper than paste.

Of course, now that I think about it, the tooth powder probably wouldn't pass - too anthrax-ian...

Back when I traveled for work, I loved every minute of it. I used to hear people say they were tired of traveling and I couldn't understand that one bit. But, after about 7 years of it, even before 9/11, I started to 'get it'. Since 9/11, my only trips were to see Mom and each one was more annoying than the last. I have, more than once, spent some cycles being grateful that I no longer have to do that any more. The good news is that there is no where that I want to go...

Today is dusting day. My hallway shelves need a severe dusting. I'm going to get one of the rolling carts they have in the garage and use it to roll along and put the shelf stuff on while I wet wipe them down.

Then it's probably a trip over to the Japanese grocery. I need bread and cheese. And, I need to oggle at the Seahawks fans.

I hate to admit it but it seems as if these stupid, cheap little pills are at least reducing the swelling in my feet and ankles. I don't know about the blood pressure. But, I'm not aware of any adverse side effects.

Susan!

I noticed the [livejournal.com profile] kalmala_l had three readers, and so I went through my "friend of" list to see who the other two people were who had her on their lists. In the process, I noticed that you also thought to add your "recent activity" page from Flickr on your friends list.

You're a genius!

I immediately did the same for my own. Finally I won't ever miss the occasional comment on my photos!

This comment has nothing to do with your entry (obviously), but I just felt like thanking you for the idea. I love both LiveJournal and Flickr more and more with each passing day . . . I think it may turn into outright obsession here pretty soon (if it hasn't already).

Except that her name is actually Kamala, and that typo irritates the shit out of me, but oh well, what can I do?

Oh, and did I mention I LOVE LJ AND FLICKR??

Just checking.

Will you teach me how to dust if I look at your webam?
And why is dust white on dark surfaces and black on white ones?
Good news about your feet.
Have a good day,Susan

I've only flown the once (http://zeppo-marx.livejournal.com/35009.html) since 9/11 as thankfully I don't have to for work anymore either. Although I miss some aspects of the year that I shared time between here and Britain or some of the other business trips - I'm more than happy to be avoiding the hassles of security these days.

It's getting to the point where we're all going to have to fly nekkid to satisfy the security weenies!
