Myrna just stopped by "because I wanted to see your happy." She's so sweet. She really is.

Volleyball was good. Really good and I didn't forget how. Most of the regulars were there. And it was good. One of the women said 'well, if we had known they were going to hire outside experts, we would not have needed that meeting!' and several agreed.

Two weeks ago, when I asked, I learned from Erica (head of Fitness/pool) that the experts they keep on retainer had been called in and were on the job to fix the problem. The Ad Hoc Anarchists could probably have learned that, too, had they asked.

The nice thing about volleyball is that you can enjoy the company of other people without having to really talk to them or swap political opinions.

I always want to swim some laps after volleyball but I'm too hungry to enjoy them and too tired/lazy to make a good breakfast. So today I tried something new. I stopped by the dining room on the way home from the pool and ate a Timber Ridge breakfast and it was fabulous. I could only eat half my giant omelette and half the hash browns so tomorrow's breakfast is waiting in the fridge! This could definitely be a regular thing.

My leg was a little stiff and didn't feel 100% while I was playing - more like 90%. And was way more sore sitting at breakfast and on the way home and was screaming at me when I got here. BUT I have figured out a position that makes it better for a time. If I lie flat on the bed and bend my kneed - heel to butt and stay like that for about 5 minutes, it feels much better and for a while so that's enormously helpful.

I started watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Prime) yesterday. I don't hate it. But, like most Amazon shows, it is dark and dim. I want to move the slider over to full brightness with every episode. It's so frustrating.

Today is house cleaning day. I plan to explore at least one floor on this side of the complex today. If the leg is willing.

I don't know if it's an option through the Timber Ridge physio service, but acupuncture might be worth experimenting with. I was extremely skeptical when it was suggested to me, but I did find that it helped (or maybe it was in combo with the actual physio -- I never had ONLY acupuncture, it was something they'd do after the more traditional physio stuff). Anyway, it likely wouldn't make anything worse, and might actually help.

I've got that one on my "to watch" list and the fact that it's dark will be a plus until I get a new TV sorted out, which won't be for at least a couple of months. Dark shows are the best for hiding those bright spots I now have on my screen. :(

We made it to Episode 6. I do not recommend watching Episode 6 unless you really enjoy two people have a really stupid argument for half the episode.

I may give 7 and 8 a try but am so pissed off at the total waste of a concept and cast with shit writing that I may not. Dana is already out but she tends to have standards.

We watch it on our bedroom TV which is the newer ROKU and what is dark elsewhere is perfect there. We have that issue frequently but the solution is a different TV for us, one we are fortunate to have.

I've stalled out at episode 6 too. That episode reminds me of the strange plot/storyline directions that Donald Glover took with 'Atlanta'. It is almost as if he smoked and said, 'what if we try this?'

I will finish the series, but Episode 6 is the perfect excuse to take a breather.

I finished the Mr. & Mrs. Smith series (season 1?) and the ending was an annoying cliffhanger. Annoying because I don't know if there will be another season and I don't know whether the two characters of this season will return or if their fate will be resolved.
