susandennisIt was glorious. I don't swim hard and I don't swim fast and I don't swim for very long but even my lame old lady swim is enough to make all my muscles happy. And my leg is better, so far, today as well. So good day so far!
We have a new puzzle started. There are no stated rules but we have come to develop our own puzzle language. You may work on any puzzle in progress. Any time. When a puzzle is finished, you leave it there for at least 24 hours. But, you can move it to the other end of the table and select the next one by placing the box of the one you want at the working end of the table. If it's there, in the box, unopened, that means it's up for debate. If you are the selector, and you are hard over on your choice, you need to get it started.
I moved the finished puzzle to the other end of the table yesterday and a few hours later, a new puzzle appeared in box. I didn't know who picked it but it looked fine to me so I set out turning the pieces right side up. The edges were already in a baggie (thank you, last puzzler). So now it's all ready to start.
I like our system.
I am putting the finishing border on my afghan. I think, when I'm done, I'll put it in the elbow with a 'free' sign. I have three projects lined up for next. The one I really want to start/finish is still on its way. It's a wreath of crocheted flowers (kit) for my door.
Tonight I'm having dinner with Cheryl and her son, Randy. I knew Randy first. He's a developer at Tiller, the money managing software that I use, and a very good guy. It will be nice to see him and lovely to have a buffer with Cheryl. Although, she's just back from a few weeks in Australia where she was visiting a friend so she'll be full of new stories, I suspect, which is better than hearing the same old ones.
My brother's out of surgery and doing well so I guess I'll get dressed and go start the laundry.
