My puzzle gift
Feb. 11th, 2024 03:44 pmI am not even close to getting puzzle saturated. The others are not nearly as addicted as I am so I work to keep up their interest. My latest trick is to stop when there are about 20-50 pieces left. They are easy ones and I give them the gift of completion satisfaction. I worked the latest one to that point. It might not get finished today because the elbows (at least the 3rd and 1st floors - I don't know about the rest) have some kind of air problem. They are blowing really cold air. I love it but Myrna and Joan really really don't and I don't think Bonny does either. So the elbow isn't getting much action until they fix that.
I got my hanging basket organizers for the closet and they aren't as I expected. My first thought was to return but now I'm thinking maybe I'll use them an entirely different way. That's tomorrow's project. Empty out and reorg. I want to be able to see and get to the important stuff and see the other stuff to know where it is if I need it - I'm looking at you 568 COVID test kits most of which have probably expired by now. But, still I save in a box with masks I hope I never have to use again.
I finished a book last night that was really pretty bad. The story was kind of lame and the characters were annoying but the author is an online friend and I appreciate his efforts so I finished it but boy was I ever glad when it was done. I have the next one queued already to start tonight.
I'me watching One Day on Netflix. I'm not wild about it but am really running out of stuff to watch so ok.
I have zero interest in the superbowl and that's exactly how much attention I'm giving it. Steak and pasta ready to heat for dinner. All's under control.
