Mornings with Myrna

Myrna is a 92 year old retired nurse who is sweet and sharp and nice and really really wants Julio to curl up in her lap.

I was just down in her apartment to report on the Spite Puzzling situation - she's pro.

She's going in this afternoon for a blood draw. Myrna said 'you know, I once did a stint drawing blood and it can be tricky. I much prefer drawing blood from people who are in a coma.'

For some reason this just cracked me up.

I don't blame her. I have a bad habit of fainting when my blood is drawn.
