susandennisI went out, in the car, to the post office, the fed ex office, ups and Safeway. And for the first time since I moved here, my leg was fine!! I could have done 5 more errands! In December, I would have had to do all that in at least two trips or three. I could feel the nerve but it wasn't a killer. It got a little intense while standing in line at the post office but I drove without pain. And walked all over Safeway without a twinge. It was fucking fantastic.
I'm kind of excited.
I went to the post office to see if I could get some intel on the stalled package. I stood in line a while and then got to the counter and she said I had to go stand in the blue door line. So I did. It said to ring the bell and someone would answer. The people ahead of me in line rang the shit out of that sucker. The helper never came. I got to the end of my daily phone games and my leg was beginning to complain so I bailed. Went to the car and sent an email.
Did all my other errands and came home, put the groceries away and was making a sandwich when the security guy delivered the missing package! Since the mail hasn't come in today, I'm guessing it came yesterday. And even more miraculously, it was forwarded from the condo! I didn't even know they did that. Apparently they didn't either cause the tracking number still says it's at the post office. Ha. I got it.
