susandennisI tried to reactivate my Fubo TV subscription and my credit card was denied. My other credit card was denied. My debit card was denied. Reddit says this is not uncommon and the fix is nearly impossible. I called. The dude said he would fix and it would take 3 days. "When you see the charge on your credit card, you will be able to watch Fubo TV."
20 minutes later, I called back (Reddit says to keep calling until you get a fix.), and this time, the automated system asked me what plan I wanted and just hooked me right up. What a chicken shit operation. So happy to be paying them $100 a month. Ugh.
But, anyway, I have baseball back. And also Jeopardy and evening news.
I just got the newsletter from the condo building. With every edition, my decision to move and sell gets another vote of confidence - what a mess that place is. Bret called today with an update. They are still demoing his place so fix hasn't even started yet. He's thinking he'll be renting my unit until June or July. I'd say August sounds more like it. I'd like to have it sold already but his paying me rent is second best.
My new eye doctor isn't fabulous but she's ok. She kind of implied that I don't need glasses and wearing them will make my eyes lazy so I'll try a while without. She wants to scan my eyes to check more closely for early signs of glaucoma and more precisely on my macular degneration. I had to make another appointment for that which is fine. It's very easy to get there and plenty of parking. So I go back a week from Monday.
Her office staff was nice and very efficient. I do appreciate that.
Myrna and I finished the puzzle and she said she'd pick the next one. We're on hold until elbow coffee is over tomorrow.
I'm having lobster mac and cheese from the freezer for dinner. I'll do the prime rib tomorrow (it's only available on Fridays and Saturdays). Next week's menus are out and there are some treats (I'm looking at you, Sunday brunch) and some losers like the lunch specials. But, there are a couple of regular lunch items that are always good.
ooops now it is sat am and i discover that someone forgot to hit 'post'!
