susandennisI was not wildly enthusiastic about going to volleyball today. Thursday's bad taste was still in my mouth but it was fine - better than fine. Neither of the two offenders were even there and a couple of my favorites who have been missing were back. It was fun.
Wally had spent a week in Canada skiing with old buddies. And I mean old. He said he gets together with these guys every year for a ski trip. They were on their college ski team. The best skier of the bunch is 92. Another one celebrated his 89th birthday while they were there. Wally was the youngest of the group at 88.
Oh and Holly, age 79,just got two more piercings in each ear. I told her I was impressed that her mother let her do that. She was worried about getting them wet but not enough to miss a game.
Old people are a riot.
I have a few network shows I enjoy. They are very formulaic so I don't have to pay close attention and can focus on my crocheting. FBI, FBI Most Wanted, L&O, The Good Doctor, The Rookie, etc. They all have new episodes and it's nice to have them back. The new show Elsbeth (spin off from a character on The Good Wife), isn't as good as it could be and isn't as bad. All in all very satisfying.
When Bret called yesterday, he told me he had removed my listing from MLS - he suspended it when they moved into my condo but the suspension time was up so he just removed it. He allowed as how I might get some calls from other agents. No shit, sherlock. 1 email, 1 voice mail and today I have gotten 4 calls from unknown Seattle numbers. Thank you Google call screening!
