When I make a cheese sandwich, I cut it in half - 2 triangles.

When I make a peanut butter and jelly (usually including a layer of cream cheese), I cut it into 4 squares.

A ham and cheese is mostly 2 triangles but, sometimes, 2 rectangles. Ditto egg salad. Tuna salad, chicken salad usually 2 rectangles. A potato chip sandwich is absolutely 2 rectangles.

I have no idea where these rules came from.

Myrna and I gave up on The Puzzle From Hell. If it's ok to give up on a book you hate after you've read 50 pages, it's ok to rebox a puzzle you have hated now for a solid 4 days. Life is too short. Especially at a senior living place!!

It didn't take much to get Myrna to pick the next one and she picked a 1000 piece one! And one with the artwork of one of my favorite artists!



I did the laundry and got it all put away. The house is tidy and ready for the cleaner who will be here in a few mins. I have a short list for Safeway and if she's not through when I get back, I'll start digging for puzzle edges.

four days is too long, LOL - I would have give up after one session of puzzle pieces that didn't fit together properly!

I like the new one - that looks like a nice one to do! I prefer "drawn" pictures vs photographs a lot of the time, unless the photographs have a lot of lines or distinct colours. The worst puzzles for me are the ones my mom would do with half the puzzle being blue sky, and the other half being low-res greens and blues of fuzzy mountains and trees, LOL

That is a fun puzzle, but now you need to explain the symbolism of the goat with the guitar. And is that a Sasquatch on the right?
