I changed the big analog clock that hangs on the wall and 30 minutes later realized it had just stopped. Dead. Sooo I got the stool back out and took it down again and replaced the battery and now we are happy. I have 3 more clocks to go. I feel like I have way more non-smart clocks than I used to.

Myrna just popped in to say how happy she was every time she remembers she is going to see the Chinese dancers. (And, yes, I am ignoring the politics on purpose.) Most, at least on this hallway, keep our doors ajar which is TR lingo for 'pop in whenever you like for whatever you like'. It lets everyone know we're interuptable and it keeps us from having to get up and go to the door. It also means it is easy to just pop in for a few mins or one single 'good morning'. It's nice and comfortable.

I have some tidying to do this morning and some sewing. And I think it's a good day to do laundry.

I am weary of this test crochet project but I promised so I want to get through it. I'm kind of afraid to take a break for fear I'll never want to pick it up again. It's an ok idea but the execution is kind of funky. And the pattern writer is not experienced at pattern writing so it's kind of all over the map.

But, first chores.

So far we've changed five clocks and two watches. Still waiting on the atomic clock to change on its own. Funny thing is that I got up before 5am, new time, anyway.
