susandennisI'm grateful for Daylight Saving Time not for the brighter evenings but for the darker mornings. I rarely go out after 3 - who am I kidding, I don't go out after lunch! But I love getting my swim in before daylight. And today I got to sleep in AND swim before daylight! Bonus!!
I also discovered that I'd forgotten to hang my suit up. Ugh. So I went to my backup suit. I have two. I hate the feel of one, so I went to the other. meh. I just don't like it. My regular suit is perfect. Perfect color, perfect feel, perfect fit. I went on Amazon today to see what they had and whatdoyouknow, but turns out I bought the perfect suit there and they had more so I ordered one exactly like I have now. And then went to check out and it was $0 because of that brain thing I did Friday. Win win. Great way to start off Monday.
I have an appointment this morning to get my eyes scanned. I'm not entirely clear on why that took a special/different appointment. But I do want to track the progress of my macular degeneration and she's now worried about glaucoma (and so am I). I have not worn my glasses since she told me that not wearing them would make my sight stronger/better. So far, it's been fine without them.
I also need to pop into the vet's and pick up some of Biggie's treats. He's running low. He only gets about a half dozen every morning. BUT I don't want to be here on the morning there is non left in the treat jar. Julio could not care less about treats so at least he's saving me a coin or two.
On Wednesday, I have my annual check up. I stopped at the scale this morning at the pool and I've dropped 5 pounds from the last time I stopped at the scale which was a couple of weeks ago. I suspect it has more to do with that I was or was not wearing either time but at least it's more. But, my check up is video so there won't be any weight! ha.
I came back from the pool this morning via the inside route which takes you past the dining rooms... lights off - no breakfast. Sad. Myrna heard about a woman who had invited six people for brunch yesterday. And saved up from her $400 to pay for all six so she wouldn't go over. And it was the last day of her food budget month. Talk about fucked. We just hope she escalates. I'm sure they will fix it but ohhhhh what a mess. I sure hope it gets fixed fast.
I need to run a load of laundry because I need to wash that swimsuit that didn't get hung up. And then I need to hit the road, Jack.
