At 10:30 I get an email from this same client saying Outlook is down and she needs to reschedule to tomorrow. Yeah... I know... there's too many things wrong with that to even start picking nits. I'd be here all freakin' day.

I did finally get a refund from Knitpiks - I think it's all but the shipping. (The ones who told me I 'probably' would get a refund.) They charged my credit card $23.72. They refunded me $21.56. Since they never sent me a receipt or acknowledgment and I have no account with them (according to them), I have no way of knowing for sure what the shipping, tax, dealer prep, whatever was. But I'm glad to get the $21.56. It's more than I expected.

Jake is in his newly redecorated Favorite Spot. He appears to approve.

I'm reading the funnest book. Who are You People? by Shari Caudron. She takes a very light hearted look at fanatics - like Barbie fanatics and ice fishing fanatics. She's trying to find out what drives their passion and how it rewards them. It's really a very enjoyable read.

That book sounds really fascinating, but it's not available at the library. Bastards!

Jake looks so much like my Smut that I think Smut didn't die, but went to Seattle.

grey cat!

the book sounds fun, the perfect kind of book for the plane... on international flights I alternate between eating/reading/watching movies/reading/sleeping/reading a lot. Nice to have a light book that can be stopped and restarted without lessening the reading experience.
