Mar. 16th, 2024 09:34 amMy puzzle is now famous. It's on the cover of this week's activities bulletin. (CLS stands for Community Life Services. They run the activities, the transportation program and the gym.)

And, yes, [if you clicked and read the PDF] I did sign up for the Tacoma Raniers game. I'd much rather go to a minor league game than a major league one (unless, it's in the section where my seats where last year). I have not been to that stadium and years - it is way too hard to get to so I never even tried after one time maybe 25 years ago. Bus there, bus back? COUNT ME IN! I'll be the kid on the bus.
I found out yesterday that the average age of the residents here is north of 80. At 74 and 11/12ths, I'm screwing with that average!
Volleyball was fun this morning but the last 30 minutes the sun is in my eyes and I can't see shit. I did have my sunglasses which helped but not that much. It's going to be a long fucking Summer. The daughter of one of the players joined us this morning for her first time playing. It's such fun to have new faces.
Everyone here is so excited to get outside. That's all they talk about. It's kind of weird. Me? I'm delighted to have shade and air conditioning. I did order some blinds for my door. I discovered that in the late afternoons there's not direct sun but there is a glare. The rest is all good. Light but no sun. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder but in the reverse of everyone else.
Once again it is time for Elbow Coffee but I need to put some clothes on. Naked would not get it with this group.
