Maybe today?
Mar. 22nd, 2024 08:17 amMaybe today I'll hear from SteveTheLawyer? Maybe today I'll hear from H&R Block? Maybe today - well actually - for sure today I'll get the internet situation fixed. But, it's going to be painful.
I went to find my Xfinity customer number. Since Xfinity goes by address and my address has Xfinity through Timber Ridge, if I don't have the customer number, the Xfinity people can't deal. Anyway... I found the number and, sadly, found that my special price is good for a year and early termination carries a penalty.
So after going through all that network setup, it looks like I'm probably stuck with what I've got until November. But, after I have my coffee, I'm going to call and see if maybe there's a way out. I'm not hopeful but it's worth a try.
Worst case, I have to keep paying $20 a month until November and, at least, now I know how to easily move everything over to Timber Ridge wifi. I will keep the Eero and just feed it wifi with the little tiny travel router. Things could be worse.
Timber Ridge has what they call a Resident Update Meeting today. They have them monthly and they used to make minutes readily available but they stopped that in 2024. I didn't go to the last two and regretted it so I put today's on my calendar BUT then, with the rise in COVID, they moved it to Zoom so YEAH!!! All the department heads give a report and the floor captains do too. Plus you can ask questions and I have questions - like where are the minutes from 2024??!! Ha.
The H&R Block lady said she would have my return done this week. I neglected to ascertain the day she considers End Of Week. Today is Friday. I am so over this woman. And this tax return.
I'm going to call SteveTheLawyer after Comcast. Might as well pile it on. Then I might do laundry.
