susandennisVolleyball was exceptional this morning. Everyone was on their game and my buddy, Holly, was back after being out for a week. Then Elbow Coffee which was fine. I snagged Jim from across the hall to help me move the big TV on Thursday.
The new TV isn't coming til Thursday which is 1. my 75th birthday and 2. the Mariners first game of the season. I could have gotten the TV sooner - actually I could go get one today at Target, but I opted to save $150 and get a Like New one from Amazon Warehouse which doesn't have the 2 days shipping. I can wait.
One of the regular volleyball players is a 92 year old retired OBGYN - Tina. Every single morning, first thing, she and another woman, Denise, walk the perimeter of Timber Ridge. If it's super cold they do it inside but that's rare. She walks and then she comes to play volleyball. 92. Anyway, this morning she told us that Denise no longer walks 'she says her days are numbered'. She has a hole in her heart. Tina's very sad about it, but resigned. The exit strategy at the cult is pretty clear.
The laundry is laundrying. I ordered a taco salad for lunch and will go down to pick it up when I finish this. I might watch the baseball game this afternoon and I might watch Vera - there's one more episode I've been saving and I'm really over Spring Training.
Tomorrow I go to H&R Block (which is really conveniently located) to get my tax return signed and on its way and out of my hair.
