susandennisWhen I opened my door to leave for volleyball, I found this on my shelf. A cookie jar of home made Toll House cookies from Myrna. I had two for breakfast. They are wonderful.
Biggie is his old self. I slept last night expecting to be wakened by Biggie throwing up but he never moved from my side. This morning he has eaten his breakfast, devoured his treats, wrestled with Julio... the only box left to tick is the litter box. I can't see that he's used it in two days. That could be a camera (failure to capture) issue or a Litter Robot issue (they are too close in weight for the Litter Robot to tell them apart. So we're still looking for evacuation evidence. But, I'm hopeful.
I spent some quality time with my new TV and its remote. For the record it's an LG C3 OLED42C3PUA - I bought it used/like new from Amazon Warehouse for $815. I wanted a smaller TV with a brighter picture. I'm not yet sure it was a good purchase. But, I am getting used to it. And I have the Roku stick as my safety net. It comes with this stupid Magic Remote which is kind of like a very bad mouse pointer. But I did figure out how to make it work like a real remote which helps. LG has apps (doesn't everyone?) but theirs are not as good as Roku's in some cases. Like Paramount Plus. On LG you cannot see all the episodes by season. It's ridiculous. On Roku's Paramount Plus app you can. Also LG does not have any Acorn app at all.
The picture is very different. I don't know how to describe it correctly. It almost looks artificially crisp. It's a little jarring. There about 4,000 different picture controls and none of them are labeled Bright AF. But Google helped me noodle out a good combo. Oh and the sound is very good. And the TV looks nice.
I could send it back - return it. But, I doubt that I will. I don't know what I would get instead.
OHHHH Biggie just got into the litter box!! He peed. Better than nothing.
Today starts baseball. Otherwise plans include puzzling. I'm just grateful plans do not include a trip to the vet.
