The puzzle is coming along very nicely. Just today we got that middle section connected. We had one piece missing and John said he would find it but while he was looking, Myrna did. We had just come back from lunch. John and Hazel (married and from Ireland) and Myrna and me. I left my phone at the puzzle and they all gave me a hard time about how could I stand being without it. Our favorite waiter - Louis - had our table today. They were really razing me so I waited until Louis came over and said to the group. "Well, ok! but don't come crying to me when you need a quick fix of emergency porn!"

I learned a while back that the casual mention of porn makes old people and young people lose their shit in giggles. It did not fail today. We had to put off ordering until John could stop laughing.

A good time was had by all.

Then I went out for errands. Biggie's pills, Amazon returns, kitty litter. I was going to stop at Safeway but I really need to double down on my Timber Ridge eating or I'm going to fall way shy of my $400. So no Safeway til next week.

I got everything done and back up here and put away.

The game starts at 6:40. The Boston crowd won't have to stay up as late, probably. I'd have more sympathy if their team lost.

Yeah, we only had to stay up until about midnight – not only did the game start earlier, but it was pretty fast. I love a good pitcher's duel, although I would have liked a different result.
