I was surprisingly stressed out about yesterday's trip. I know this because the relief that it was over was nearly exhausting. So weird. I guess it's one of those old lady things that I'm just not used to yet.

And in that bucket are the casual age assignments I now hear everywhere on TV and in books. He's 70 years old, how in the world do you expect him to do ... [that perfectly normal thing]. Or she died of old age at 65.

On the one hand, I'm offended at assumptions that I'm too elderly to do shit. And on the other hand, I'm surprised when it turns out I'm too elderly to do shit. This in between age of 75 is not easy!

But my bed app and Fitbit and me all agree, I slept like the dead last night.

I skipped swimming this morning but, it's a lovely cloudy day, so I think I might just suit up and go now. The sun might come out later but I can get in a good swim before it does.

I have no plans for today. The ballgame is at 5.

Just a lovely nothing day.

About that ballgame.... I happened to glance at my phone while watching our game, and saw that yours was the only other one still going on, so I followed what happened in the bottom of the 9th. Ouch.

Our game certainly had ugly aspects that were all too reminiscent of last season, but at least our guys pulled it out at the end.

yeah. it was ugly as have many of their games been so far. but, after all, they are the Mariners.
