Interesting afternoon

susandennisI did go to Best Buy. I looked at all their chromebooks. I particularly want a Chromebook Plus and there are only six models. 14 and 15". As I suspected 15" is too big. Actually 14 is, too but I need the umph of the plus. All the ones they had were pretty ordinary/not attractive. They did not have the Lenovo that I really wanted to see. And I was the invisible old lady so no one tried to sell me anything or was near enough for me to ask questions so I left.
I went to get gas but couldn't find my credit card. Hmm the last time I used it was Sunday at the ballpark. I'm guessing it's in the jacket. No biggie.
On to Safeway where I scored some fried chicken, a poke bowl and a chopped salad mix.
Then home. I did more research on the Chromebooks and decided on ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34. The price ranges from $700 (Amazon) to $370 (Walmart). And a various mix of prices at other places. I was considering the Walmart deal when I remembered to look at Amazon Warehouse. SCORE!! $330. It will be here Monday.
Then I finished one puzzle and started another while I waited for my house to be cleaned.
Then I came home and decided it was time to change out the entry decor. So I made a Creature Picnic on the shelf. (The food is pretend because real food would just spoil, it's so hot in the hallway.)
And I moved my Mariner fandom to a wreath.
Then I went back to the elbow to pack up the done puzzle and Noelle from down the hall came by and sat down to chat. Noelle is rather an odd duck but very very sweet and kind. Her parents were American missionaries in Asia and she never lived in the United States until she was well into her adulthood. Makes for an interesting perspective on things.
Biggie just pulled out a drawer in the entry way chest and he's going through the contents. He keeps looking over here as if to say 'see what I did??? why aren't you coming after me???'
Guess I'd better get on that.

One favourite was a classroom where all the little creatures were doing a lesson but the best was a cinema where they were watching an actual screen with Casablanca playing! I don't know how they did it because this would have been about 2004-2008 ish so long before handy tablets to put up
