I'm over this week

susandennisFor the second time, the eye doctor's office fucked up my appointment. At least they owned up to the error and they said they would 'work me in' but after 40 minutes of waiting, I got another appointment and left. They get one more shot and then I'm done with them.
The cochlear implant presentation was painless and moderately interesting. It was kind of cool to hear about Jim's and Gary's experiences.
I finished the current puzzle so there will be room for Elbow Coffee tomorrow. And I did laundry.
My toe is not better. But it is on ice right now.
The savior is the new computer. Asus CX34 Chromebook Plus. It did not disappoint one single bit. It was rated as 'Used Acceptable' but I cannot find one single thing on it that looks like anyone has ever touched it. Quite the deal. The keyboard is heavenly to type on. Much better than any other Chromebook I've ever typed on. And the track pad is huge. The screen is nice and big and bright. And, important to me, it looks very nice when it's just sitting closed on the table.
I'm quite delighted. So it's the week's savior.
Fuck. The Mariner game is weathered out. This week just continues to be a shit sandwich.
Tomorrow I am going to try volleyball again. I'm going to move to the other side of the pool so the sun will beam onto the back of my head. It will be a very different playing experience because it is about two feet deeper and will require different muscles. I've tried playing in deeper water a time or two and failed miserably. BUT this time I have incentive to make it work. So... hopefully.
And another kudo for this new laptop. This keyboard is seriously made for typing. Geesh. Nice.
