Dropping like flies

susandennisBill and Linda went to Boston for Bill's granddaughter's graduation. Gary took his wife to their cottage in the mountains. Cecil fell down a flight of stairs (he's banged up but ok). Richard has a skin thing on his finger that he cannot get wet yet for weeks. Bill was a no show but he often is. And Steve had to leave early!
Volleyball boasted a sparse crowd today. But we were lively. And we may have a new player next week. So all is good, just different.
Next up Elbow Coffee without Joan. That should be interesting. She always brings a load of bad news from the news she watches on TV and reads in the paper. It will be very different without her.
Then back to my blanket. I have 1/2 square left. Then sewing. Then the border and then I'm done!!
The game is not til 4 today but I have lots of TV to watch before then.
One thing I figured out about Direct tv last night is that it is the closest to TiVo of any of them. I watched TV via TiVo for 2 decades. And my muscle memory is strong. Last night, I discovered several different ways to access and see different versions of the list of my recordings. Also a very easy way to delete and, most critical, an UNdelete!
This week is my End of the Meal Month week and I've got some eatin' to do. I have $80 to eat up before next Saturday. It's going to be tight. But, I think I can do it. There's at least two meals on the dinner menu this week that will freeze nicely so I can double up if need be.
There's a farmers market here in Issaquah that starts today and goes for the summer. I want to get there before it gets hot but I also don't want to be spending money I don't need to. They hold it in a very convenient place with lots of nearby parking. And there is, apparently, lots of interesting crafts of all kinds which is what I want to see. Maybe next week.
Time to get dressed and get out to the elbow.
