Lovely Monday

The weather peops say our cool and cloudy days are numbered and by the weekend we should be sunny and hot. Of course they say it like the latter is a good thing. But to me it means that today may be the last comfortable lap swimming day for a while. I woke up too early but that's ok. I've had breakfast and fed cats and caught up on the internet. When I finish this entry, I'll suit up and get my swim in.

There's a new puzzle going in the elbow. Lately it's been up to me to pick one and get it started. But, yesterday, I was hell bent on getting this damn text blanket finished plus there was the Mariner game. So after the game, when I got to a stopping place, I wandered out to the elbow to get the next puzzle started.

And there, to my surprise and delight was Bonny and Myrna who had emptied the box, turned all the pieces right side up and found 80% of the edges all ready!! "You are just in time, sit here and get going on these edges!" It was delightful. I finally dragged myself back here for more of the blanket.

I have two rows to go. Each will take about an hour. Then it's steaming and washing and resteaming if necessary and the picture taking and I'll be done!!!! I cannot wait.

oh shit, the clouds are breaking up. I need to get to the pool now!

Since I started reading your journals I found you to be mostly content with and grateful for your life, but your joie de vivre since you moved to TR has been a delight to witness.

Fun! I truly do feel such a sense of well-being here. I think it's the people and the not having to fuck with shit myself any more. If this roof falls in, it's not my problem. Plus the food. Nice of you to notice and tell me.
