susandennisI finished the pattern test blanket. Pictures taken and it's now out in the elbow with a Free label. Whew.
We've got this puzzle going in the elbow. There were several edge pieces we could not find. We gave up and just started into the rest. Chad is a maintenance guy who found a piece for us once before. (He's also the guy who responded and was so wonderful when Joan fell.) Yesterday, he came by on his way somewhere as we were working on the puzzle. He said "what piece do you need me to find?" We need a couple of black and white edge pieces. He stood right there looking over the same pile we'd been staring at for two days, and picked them both out.
We told him if we got into trouble, we were going to put in a work order for him. Now when we can't find a piece we're all 'where's Chad???'.
Between vacations and injuries, our volleyball squad is dwindling. We had 8 - ish (one kind of contributes from the sidelines and the other comes for the last hour only). Thursday we'll be down another one and Saturday, down two. I'll be glad when everyone quits farting around and gets back to what's important.
Oops. Just saw a maintenance guy walking across the courtyard with a giant plunger. Someone's not having a good morning. My sink was acting kind of clogged yesterday but today it's been healed. It's so wonderful to live in a place where infrastructure issues are someone else's problem.
No big plans for today. It's housecleaning day. I need to make a run to the dollar store but I've been saying that for a week and might say it for another week.
