I got a note from my realtor today. His unit was flooded in mid-January and he moved into mine and has been renting ever since. Just this week, he got clearance from his insurance company to go ahead with the repairs. Several units got damaged at the same time and they are all using the same contractor for the work. They are meeting with the contractor on Friday and maybe will have a kind of timeline.
Initially, Bret said he thought it would be August or September before they could move back in. Sounds like that might be on the nose. Then we can put the thing back on the market and unload it! I hope.
I finished the latest puzzle today. It was an Eric Dowdle puzzle and it was my last one. I'm so over his stuff. They are all very similar. They have horribly shaped pieces that don't always lock together and the art work is teeny tiny people and weird stuff. Myrna and agreed we don't have to do any more of his. I wanted to do one that is 1,000 pieces but it's Tuesday and I don't like taking up table real estate for Elbow coffee on Saturday. So I started a 550 one. It will be fine.
I'm currently addicted to manderines and clementines. I keep running out.
Tonight is leftovers for dinner. I have lots of excellent choices.
John is still very excited about his fixed computer. Hazel (his wife) paid me up front for a future fix with her left over fries from lunch. (Timber Ridge fries are 1. delicious and 2. freeze and reheat to crispy goodness in the toaster oven.)
I'm nearly to the midway point of the baby blanket I'm finishing for the woman who died's daughter.
