Productive!!!

I shortened the sleeves of my robe and used the excess material to make the arms of a favorite shirt wider. Then I took a dress that I like and made it into a tunic. And cleaned up the detritus and put the sewing stuff away. And put the newly tailored clothes and other stuff into the laundry.

Then I made 6 breakfast burritos and cleaned up the kitchen.

Then I decided that I really really really wanted a Papa Murphy's pizza so I ordered one and got into the car. When I hit the first intersection, I remembered the Never Go Anywhere Between 3 and 7 Rule. Ooops. Plus there was a rare thunderstorm a-brewin'.

The main road that connects Timber Ridge to the world is a three layer that dumps into two lanes just after our intersection and is the route that 984,926 +/- people take to get home from work. I can see the backup every evening from here through the trees. But, I forgot today and then just decided to power through.

I thought the thunderstorm was going to get me but all I ended up with was wind and lightning and thunder. Oh and pizza!!

Now I am home and it's 4:15 and I think I'll put my feet up and knit a bit before pizza.

All it takes is one Traffic Adventure to remind you of the vows you have taken.

The violent thunderstorm(ish) was a nice emphasis on the lesson.

Pizza is a nice consolation prize!
