I have been reading the Washington Post 7 news items newsletter every day now for a year and it's time to switch up my news game. So I've been daily news newsletter shopping. I've signed up for the Seattle Times daily news newsletter - every day for a week and nothing - nada. Tried two different email addresses. They are broken in so many ways. I get the Axios Seattle newsletter but it's pretty weird in what it considers news and the tone is obnoxious. I get the 1440 newsletter and it's good but I like more than one source. The hunt is ongoing.

Biggie and Julio both slept in the new basket last night and spent a lot of yesterday in it. I'm growing to really love it. Initially, I resented filling that space but I was wrong. It's perfect for the space and I like the look of it so much.

That photo was last night and we had the most interesting clouds going on.

I did something yesterday to my lower back. It's not at all happy. It needs a good swim and maybe a few laps with a noodle or board just kicking. I'm trying to wait until at least 7:30. The sun is threatening to break through the clouds.

The batch of breakfast burritos I made yesterday was a particularly good one. Just eggs, a slice of bacon and cheese. I made 6. So now I have good breakfasts through Wednesday!

The Mariners are on the east coast for a week which means 'night' games are at 4 and day games are done before lunch. My kinda schedule.

No big plans today. I did everything yesterday. But I do think I'll go suit up and hit the pool.

Every time you post a picture of your house it always ends up giving me ideas or making me happy. I did end up ordering those rolling storage ottoman things that you told me where to find (actually you told me what they were called, as opposed to my initial search for "toy storage cubes". haha. Today I am loving the cube with the colorful cushion on top. Super cute.

I always rec National Public Radio. They've got overall nationwide newsletters (https://www.npr.org/newsletters/), and you may also be interested in KUOW, which is the Seattle local NPR. Here's their newsletters: https://cloud.npr.kuow.org/sign-up-all.

I used to mostly be a Post Person, but when I found it was just too much churn (during an election, the pandemic, etc.), NPR has a slower, more considered pace, which I appreciate.
