Joan may come home Tuesday - she thinks she's not ready but she may not have a choice. This according to Myrna who may not have the facts so this all could be whacked. BUT Joan has two competent children and at least one competent grandson - they are all on the case. Myrna also reports that Joan is very disappointed in Timber Ridge. She's not getting her phone calls returned or her questions answered. AND, turns out, she was supposed to get a care advocate/coordinator from Timber Ridge assigned to her to work out all these kinks and no advocate was every assigned. That one I totally believe. The right hand and the left here have never been introduced. There's a ton o' shit that falls through the cracks because this department doesn't tell that one and that one doesn't talk to the other one and everyone has data and no one shares it. It's a little distressing but I think it's mainly just legacy shit that hasn't caught up to the real world.
The baseball game starts in a bit. As usual by this time on Saturdays, I'm over people. So happy to sit and watch the baseball with the cats. And so grateful that I have nothing preventing me from doing just that.
