Shelf delights

The first one was the shocker. Kind of a stark political statement. There are a handful of folks who share their Jewishness at their entry, either their mezuzah or decorations. But this is the first of this kind I've seen. On the shelf next to this was a flag of Ukraine and a gay pride flag. I'm thinking they have some allegiances...



The rest were just pretty or interesting or both.

The sculptures are amazing.













There are a fair number of signs/sayings sprinkled about but this one cracked me up.



This is all glass and stunning irl.



This pretty little basket is made of foam!



I love this wreath!



But this was the only display that got one of my cards. It was just so adorable and creative and fun.



It was a great walk.

Those are all great! My favorites are the large elephant and giraffe statues. :)

So cool - everyone has very different things - it shows a bit of their personality!

I like the cast iron kitty cat out of all the statues - although the tall skinny elephant is a close second and quite clever to find one that fits in that wee corner!

What kind of card? Are you guys voting for best display?

I got (vista print) cards (business card size) with my name and apartment number printed on them so that I could leave notes on shelves that deserved a 'well done!' or 'very cool'.

BUT I love the vote for best display! Yard of the month - shelf edition!

That Jungle Shelf is a true delight. And this reminds me that I have a handful of now-months-old "shelf" photos sitting on my phone waiting for me to figure out how to post here.
