I finally forgot to hit Post on an entry and then posted the next one so that the references were all bass ackwards. This is what I get for keeping two computers going - mostly they sync nicely. Me, not so much.

Now it's Tuesday after volleyball but before getting dressed.

It's a rainy rainy day - one of the few remaining, I'm guessing. Come June, we pretty much dry up until September, a situation that shocked me when I first moved to the west coast. People kept planning these outdoor events with no rain backup plans. Where I'm from, daily rain shower or every other day is pretty much the norm and you get thunder and lightening in the mix in the Summer (which also lasts from April to November). You never planned an outdoor event* without a rain plan. *Actually it's too fucking hot most of the time to do events outdoors anyway.

But, here, it's lovely and the cats love watching the rain.

Today's adventure is Costco. I have a prescription to pick up. And I could use more bacon. And it's house cleaner day so I need to be out of here anyway. Myrna popped in last night to report on Joan and talk to Julio. I told her about the Costco trip and did she want anything... Yes, she said, she wanted to go with! She does like to wander around retail establishments and just look at stuff. She's happy to do it for 5 mins or an hour. I'm more than happy to have the company. I do need to schedule us a Target trip. I can't get into Target on my own. It always just seems like too much effort for too little return but I know she would love it and that makes it worth the trip. I have a $50 gift certificate that I have to use before June.

Myrna is giving her car to her son sometime this Summer if not sooner. I think she's seen too many old people drive far longer in their lives than was safe. She's got most everything she needs here and they do offer transportation. It's a bit of a bother to arrange but maybe not once you get used to it. Plus, she's got me.

I think I finally have my Chewy deliveries metered properly. I'm trying not to keep a huge inventory but I do need enough to get me to the next shipment. So now I have one delivery every two weeks and another delivery every three weeks. That should keep it controlled but flowing.

Poor Boeing. Every day is a new tragedy. That's one corporate communications department I'm glad I skipped. They need a good sex scandal now to cleanse the palate. Timber Ridge is rife with retired Boeings. They are pretty much talking about anything else.

Ok, I'm hitting post now and getting dressed.

I am loving today's weather. I have the window open at work so I can listen to the rain and feel the cool breeze.

It is nice to have someone to go to the store with who is a good companion.

I am not a shopper, so whenever possible, I let Pat handle it. (grin)

It's nice that the cats like the rain. My Dobby is infuriated by rain. I don't know exactly why, but he roams from window to window when it rains, howling at the top of his lungs, clearly angry at it.
