The sleep mask is made. I used some fleece so it's nice and soft. I may need to refine the design but I'm going to give it a run tonight to see.
I made good puzzle progress as well. Myrna agreed we need to get 'er done but she has a ticket to a play this afternoon and I'm watching the game. We still have tomorrow.
I'm really ready to declare victory on my breathing. It's been nearly two weeks now with no Spiriva (or any other inhaler). One time, a few years ago, when the lung doctor graduated me from twice a year visits to once a year, he said, kind of casually "I wonder if we've misdiagnosed you. You might have asthma - not at all severe - and not COPD at all." I asked him then what the difference would be for me day to day and long term. He said day to day, no diff. Long term, I might live longer. We laughed and I never saw him again (he got a nurse practitioner and I saw her instead), but I've thought about that conversation a lot. Especially recently.
I'm under no delusion that I still cannot acquire breathing issues BUT I think as long as I stay healthy, sucking down Spiriva every day is not going to make a diff. So no more for me!
I'm coming to the end of my latest Peter Grainger book. This one is really good - Songbird. It's book one of a series that shares some of the same characters or another of his series. His stories are good and his characters are so rich and the reader/narrator is just good. I can't wait to find out what happens in this book. I have many many more Graingers left to read. It's like being fabulously literarily wealthy!
