Spam, etc

I left the knives at Dave's door at 7. At 10:15 I got a note saying they were sharp and ready for pickup! I grabbed some cash and walked over to his side of the complex. (They take donations for upkeep of their shop, etc.)

"How much do I owe you?" "You pay whatever you want." Handing him 2 $20's "How about $40?" Taking 1 of them, he countered "How about $20?" and back home I came.

So, on a Sunday morning, I got my knives sharpened without having to go outside and for $20. That's one heckofadeal.

I fried up a can of Spam today and am enjoying a hot Spam sandwich. I love Spam and even have a Spam slicer that I love. Now I have fridge spam for more sandwiches or other delights.

I also stopped by the Bistro on my way back from the knife pick up and bought a bowl of home made tomato soup. Their 'bowls' are two servings for me and their tomato soup is pretty damn good.

I did about an hour of the puzzle and made good headway before the game started. The Mariners aren't losing. So... life is good but don't piss me off because I have sharp knives.
