odds and ends
May. 30th, 2024 01:55 pmMy brother, the puzzle maker, made us one of some of the dogs he walks!!

Hazel does not do the puzzles but she always checks on our progress and often sits and visits and is crazy about dogs. She has not had one in years and still carries dog treats with her where ever she goes. We got delayed going to lunch today because she ran into one of her favorites. Note: They are all her favorites. She LOVES this puzzle so much.
And it looks like a very fun one to do.

This week's edition of the Timber Ridge Times (really a thing, honest), included some fun factoids.
-------------------------------------

Biggie, relaxing in his basket reviewing the good job he did pulling the yarn off of the shelf.
--------------------------------------
I told Myrna we could go to Goodwill tomorrow, Monday or Tuesday or really any day next week. She picked tomorrow. So tomorrow it is.

Today's IT support work.
Myrna came and got me. Comcast was doing a two factor check on her email. She figured out how to get the text - she plugged in the correct number and turn on her cellphone and got the code but she couldn't type it in. She didn't highlight the box so it wasn't set for entry. She was sooooooo close! I was very impressed.
Hazel's tablet was throwing her an error about having too much data. We reviewed her requirements (all she ever does and ever wants to do is play solitaire on it so her requirements were 'which of these 2 dozen solitaire games to do you want to keep?'. I deleted about a million apps. Samsung sure does have a lot of junk. I kept the bare bones and the solitaire games and put all the non-solitaire games together in 2 bundles. I left the Play Store out and showed her how to use it and explained that all she needs to do is shut the cover. She doesn't have to turn it off ever.
I have two very happy customers.
Now I'm going to pull out my knitting and watch the game.
