susandennisThe Mariner game starts in a few mins so I guess I'll pop out to UPS to Amazon return tomorrow. NBD
They have a new thing at lunch. The special of the day. They 'announce' it on a chalk board outside the dining room. It is different every day and sometimes it is spectacular. And it's not available for take out. But today they had General Tso's chicken - a fave of mine - so I sweet talked Justin, one of the servers, into 'serving' it to me in a container. Once he swore me to secrecy, the deed was done and it was fab. (I would have sat but I didn't have the time to sit and eat and pick up my Amazon package and the mail and get back up here in time for the game.) Justin is the best.
The insurance guy sent me the test for supplemental insurance. There are 10 questions 'have you ever been diagnosed with xxx or do you currently have xxx' heart disease, stroke, cancer, etc. Happily COPD didn't make the hit parade. Then it said, it you answered yes to anything, you are not eligible for supplemental insurance. If you answered no, then the decision would be made based on answers to the next two sections.
The first was height and weight - dum da dum dum
And then drugs with how long and what for - dum da dum dum
I'm guessing those two sections will sink me. And that will make that decision for me!
So this afternoon is baseball and maybe laundry.
The cats are in their basket snoring away. Someone, here in the apartment, threw up this morning while I was at volleyball. I figured it was Biggie but I wasn't too concerned because when I discovered it, they were both at their food bowls begging for more breakfast. The nest cam, however, told me it was Julio. There was a hairball in the mix and he seems fine now.
But, I'm running out of the magic carpet cleaning juice. It's kind of pricey but it's so good and works every time and smells nice. And, oh! it's on sale today! PLUS a discount if you order 2, AND more of a discount if you add it to subscribe and save. So... Two bottles cost me less than one would have on any other day so score!
