Sometimes it's nothing

susandennisBoth Julio and Biggie often stare intently out the window ... at nothing. There is nothing moving. No birds, no bunnies, no people, no dogs, no wind. It's the weirdest thing. But they do love these windows. And just now a woman downstairs came out to water her geraniums so it's sometimes not nothing.
My fall created some sore spots that could develop into Sore Spots. This answered the swim or no swim this morning question. And it was a lovely swim. I spent a good bit of it remembering Maju's S who died last night. I only really knew her through Maju's journal and the few times she popped on to mine to offer sympathy every time Biggie had surgery or even a surgery scare. It was so kind of her. Maju's had such a difficult road and probably an even more difficult one ahead.
The pool was locked again and again there was someone trying to get in. I had my white card so was able to get us both in but really, they need to unlock that sucker OR send out a notice to everyone that a white card is now required. On the other hand, I did get the pool to myself. The other woman went into the gym part.
I just noticed this morning that my phone has a growing crack at the bottom. Some time ago, I managed a small break in the bottom corner but now that break is growing a leg. It's a Pixel 7 pro. The Pixel 9's will be here in mid-October but if my ship hasn't come in by then, I doubt I'll pop for a new one. Fixing this one is not going to be that pretty either so I think I'll just bank on the leg staying short. In all my years of cellphones - now 25+ - this is the first screen I've ever had damaged. Guess it has to happen some time. (On the up side, the fix it place is very conveniently located.)
Today is some puzzle, some baseball, some sushi. A nice Sunday.
