The Favorite Place du Jour

susandennisI started to unplug and put away the two closet cat beds just the other day. They never use them any more. They must have read my mind because this morning, I couldn't find Biggie and finally found him curled up in one and just now checked to see...
It's a full on rainy day outside and cozy as can be in here.
I did a lot of puzzling this morning and then went to lunch with Joan and Hazel and John. Joan was at her worst. Also I've learned to keep my trap shut around her. She will broadcast anything and everything you say to everyone she meets. And she rarely gets the repeat accurate. She's one of these people who knows everything about everybody and will tell you whether you want to know or not. So Zip Lip. Plus, she reads the morning paper cover to cover every day and then spends the rest of the day sharing all the horrible and tragic news that she read. AND, service was slow so it was a long, not fun lunch.
I dropped off Myna's lunch to her. She had gone to the new doctor. Timber Ridge has a Primary Care Physician with a focus on geriatrics who holds office hours here twice a month. She liked him. He's an option for me so I wanted to get the scoop. I'd rather go to Virginia Mason but if that does not work out, he's my Plan B.
Once back from Myrna's, I scurried home and have been hold up here with my knitting enjoying the solitude all afternoon.
I think I'll get back to my knitting and finish up my latest book while I work.
