Bonny moved in a year ago last March. She was the new person before me. She lived on a big lake nearby and then her husband died and her kids moved out and she moved here. She has a huge unit at the end of the hall with windows on two sides. She's set in her ways, not the brightest bulb in the drawer (love mixing) but can be pretty hilarious.

Last week we were talking schedules and she said that she LOVES Thursdays. She has nothing on Thursdays. "I lie in bed and stretch out and think awwwww I could stay here all day if I wanted." I was in the elbow puzzling this morning when she comes out. Her Thursday had been broken. "They just called from the library and the End of Life Book is missing!!!"

The End of Life Book is a reference book of everything you need to know and do before you die. All the forms, all the processes, how to and what to. You can take a form or a paper with you for reference but the book stays in the library. It's pretty popular around here. Bonnie's on the library committee and her job is to check the End of Life Book regularly and make a note of what needs adding/replacing.

But, now dun dun dun... it's missing! And Bonnie has to find it. It's a big binder - huge actually. As Bonny was getting into the elevator with others, they were speculating on what could have happened.

"Someone must of taken it!"
"But who? And how do I find them???"
"Well, it's too heavy to carry so I'd start with people who use walkers."

OMG even more hilarious is that does not narrow down the suspect list too much!

She came back later to report that the book had been found, in the library. So the walker people have been removed as Persons Of Interest.

She sat down to puzzle a bit. We are down to our last dog. It's been a great puzzle.

I think I'm going to skip the resident council meeting. There are just too many COVID cases popping up. And there won't be that much new stuff. It's not worth it. I'll stay here and knit.

I'm very amused by the list of suspects including people using walkers. Lord, that would be a long damn list in a place like yours.

It's too bad they don't just do the meeting on Zoom for those who can't or won't attend.
