Hall Pass

I went out to puzzle this aft and left the door ajar in case Biggie wanted to walk the halls. He did. He's making lots of friends and really, at least so far, behaving himself. He does not run to or from anyone or anything. He wanders down the hall and in the elbow like he's got no worries. It's really funny. And he doesn't dart here and there. So if I needed to catch him for any reason, it would be easy to do. No one really seems to mind his being out there but I do need to ask Myrna to keep her ears perked in case someone does and doesn't want to say anything to me directly.

I'm not particularly hungry but they have fried chicken on the buffet line and I hate to miss that and it's getting close to the end of the meal month and I've got money to burn.

In the way olden days, there was a radio comedy called The Life Of Riley - The phrase was the olden equivalent of living the best life. I have the life of Riley.

I love the idea of Biggie strolling around making friends. Fingers crossed there isn't some rule about it as you don't want a visit from the Pet Police.

Yeah, in my (very vague) recollection, the title of that show was intended ironically, as the title character didn't have a particularly fabulous life.

Fried chicken is hard for me to resist, too! I made a good batch a few weeks ago. Might have to again soon before I dispose of the cooking oil.
