A quick post while my other machine boots up... The famine is over. Three clients sent work today and a forth one asked if I had some time for some work early next week! I have stuff to do!

One of the jobs today was working on yet another of the internal websites and they are all sooooo slow to work on. Finally, while I was waiting for my keystroke to be acknowledged, I called Qwest and ordered more mps. I have had a 1.5 MPS account. I will have - come Monday - a 7 MPS account.

I have no idea what MPS equates to in real life. And, frankly, I don't give a shit. If I do the math, (and listen to the qwest guy) my speed will be 4.6 times faster than it is now. I'll be happy with 2 times.

I do love that an order placed on Wednesday takes until Monday to fill. I'm guessing that the work involved is one guy changing one entry from xx to xy. And the rest of the time my order is just resting in a queue or two.

Oh well. The other machine is ready. I need to do two quick things and then head out to the doctor's.

I love being busy!

I have been reading way too much genealogy/DNA stuff, since my first reading of this was "Hmmm. Switching from female to male." Ooops.
