tidy and mean

susandennisA long while ago, I started wearing blue and black knit pants all the time. My tops vary widely but my bottoms are the same. The bottoms don't die but they do get old and sad but since they are pretty unnoticeable I just keep wearing them but also buy new once in a while. So now I have a collection that wildly exceeds my needs. Today I took all the old and tired ones (about 20) and folded them into a plastic bag out of which I sucked all the air and put them into the storage unit. They joined 3 other plastic bags of clothes I don't need. Not seasonally need but really don't need at all. One day, they will all get chucked.
Then I rearranged the hanging stuff in the closet and now it is way more functional and looks nice. I have a list of stuff I might get this week if the Prime Day price appeals. On that list is a small non-tabletop ironing board. I keep talking myself out of one and I keep wanting one. They are really expensive. But, come with hangers and now I have a place in the closet to hang one. So we'll see.
Also on that list is a new tablet for bed. I play games on that tablet while I listen to my book every night. The games I play are no longer available. I load them directly from APK's I created back when they were current. So they will not work on all tablets. Also Android tablets are weird now. No one makes a good one and the cheap ones can really be suspect and I will NOT buy a Samsung anything ever again. And then this morning, I remembered a Fire 10 I bought a while back that I successfully loaded Google on to. I fired it up and tried to install one of my old (and favorite) APK's and it worked!!!!! So, no new tablet needed for me! I should get a case for it but now I'm cheaping out because they are nearly $20!
A local reporter reportedly closed her Twitter account this morning after tweeting "Make America Aim Again". To be honest, while a dead Trump would not make Biden younger or sharper or Harris any more suited to lead something more than a parade, I would be far happier never to have to see his face again.
