Retail Victory

I spent a bundle with the Prime Day Sale but I saved soooooooo much!! I've had a list of things I've wanted for a while. Some big (new swim mp3 player) and some small (a cover for the tablet I'm now using a lot). I've been shopping and selecting everything on the list on Amazon. I found everything I wanted and put them all into my cart and then went to the cart and moved them all to Save For Later.

This morning, I clicked on my cart and I got a lovely list of all the price changes of the stuff I'd saved for later and nearly every single thing was cheaper today than yesterday and some stuff was a bunch cheaper. The swim mp3 player (Shokz were now $30 cheaper. Even the ironing board was $15 off.)

I'm deeeeeeeelighted. And now I'm done spending for a long time.



Tonight is the big 3rd floor Summer Picnic. They already set up all the tables and chairs. Fortunately that area stays shaded most of the day so not so horribly hot. Still, I am not looking forward to this. Myrna is one of the organizers so it was not worth my trying to duck out. Also they are serving fried chicken and I do love me some fried chicken. So I'll go. 5-7. At least there's no baseball to miss.

The rest of today will be spent waiting for Biggie's new gear to arrive and hoping hoping hoping it works.

And puzzling.

But, first, I think I'll get dressed.

Which swim mp3 player did you get? My waterproofed iPod Nano from Waterfi (RIP) still works as far as I know, but I'm always curious what'll come next some day.

I've used a Delphin (underwater audio) for many years - downloaded Spotify onto it. But I gave up Spotify and am just using my own mp3's and Delphin is just too fiddly for local music - especially when the lap counter quit working. So I went with this

Wow, I've never seen headphones that were also a player! Well, not since those huge radio ones from the '80s with the tall antenna on one side.

have you ever put a harness on Biggie before? If not, you can expect a very dramatic show. Squeak threw herself around and on the floor and told me that she was DYING of the deads. I'm waiting for her to grow a bit before I can put her new harness on her. The old one got tighter than I liked, but the new one is too big. It's one size bigger from the same company, but still too big.

That's a good idea to just have them in the save for later section. I never get excited about Prime Days because the thought of looking through all that crap makes me tired.
