Julio the tattletale

susandennisI was sitting here at my table this morning just internetting when Julio started meowing non stop. He was just standing on the kitchen floor wailing. And soon I got the translating "Biggie got out!!! Biggie has left the apartment!!!!" I looked at all the cams and, sure enough, he was nowhere to be seen and just as I was getting ready to go out and look for him, Bonny knocked on the door. "Biggie is under my bed and he won't come out."
Bonny had her door wide open because her house cleaner was there. Jessica, the house cleaner, is NOT a fan of cats at all. Not one bit. And she had been in the process of trying to make the bed that Biggie was under. It didn't take long to get him and we apologized. Bonny thought it was funny. Jessica, not so much. (Last week, while she was cleaning Hazel and John's Biggie kept getting in there.) Jessica's sister, Katherine, is my house cleaner and fortunately, she's ok with cats.
We got back home and I blocked the door and went back to internetting and pretty soon, Julio is wailing again. This time Biggie had only gotten as far as the end of the hall. Now he's properly thwarted and sitting there just watching the door. But, I may have to increase Julio's allowance for Job Well Done.
Jeff Jackson Congressman from North Carolina is my new explainer. When I want to just know the facts, I turn to him. He explains it all, clearly in under 3 minutes. This is what he said just after the Biden announcement on Sunday.
He does such good video and he's such a good communicator and he's so pretty to look at. The last politician from North Carolina that was enamored with got a grip and quit the front line to work behind the scenes. (Harvey Gantt - Mayor of Charlotte in the 80's). I'd like to see Jeff Jackson either step into a greater role in American politics and soon OR step into my bedroom naked. I could go either way.
The Mariner continue to suck but at least, for this 3 game series, we have announcers who don't. After Thursday, they will rotate the idiots back in to call the game and I'll just mute the whole game. Actually easier than just muting every inning local chick who does the cute player interviews on repeat every inning.
Today is my house cleaning day, too, but not until after lunch. Nothing else much planned. Just another nice day at the cult.
