Elbow Bear Tales

susandennisI've been making more dolls and putting them on my shelf.
I made one bear before the dolls and he is bigger and not a doll so they were crowding him out. I pinned a note 'I need a new home' to him and put him on the table in the elbow before we went down to dinner last night.
When we got back, there was a MUCH larger, lovely furry teddy sitting on the table next to the knitted one with a rather elaborate note - more an application really to adopt the knitted one, please?! It was hilarious and we were so shocked that I didn't even get a photo. We did not recognize the handwriting and could not even guess the provenance. I did get a pen and left my enthusiastic consent. This morning, I forgot to check and didn't get out there until 7:15 and both bears and their notes were gone. I'm hoping maybe Mryna got some G2 on the caper.
One of the many wonderful, surprising and delightful benefits of living in this cult. Particularly in my little section.
Oh and dinner was wonderful. The food was good, not great, but the feeling was really lovely. I had not been down there for dinner in a long time but we will be going back - we're thinking maybe once a week when they kill that reservation requirement.
I got a ping from FedEx that the washer/dryer parts that were supposed to take 2 weeks to 10 days are arriving today!
