One of the five swimsuits I ordered from Amazon arrived yesterday. I tried it on. It fit. I cancelled three of the others and I'll return the one I could not cancel. This morning I wore it to volleyball and it's even better than I imagined. It fits so perfectly and holds everything in place and even keeps me from slumping. I put the old ones in the 'to be donated' drawer and ordered a backup of the new one. Yeah!
Elbow coffee was lovely. Food and Beverage sent out yet another confusing notice about dinner. They keep saying things like 'our reservation system is still in place and will be until further notice' instead of saying Reservations are still required. And since they are so imprecise, everyone is interpreting differently and arguing about it. There is some serious leadership needed in that department.
Week after next, I have an appointment with a new primary care physician. I just logged in to double check and see what info they needed. Then I went to Humana to see if anything had changed there as far as assigning the new doctor as my primary care physician. Turns out things have changed. Before the doctor's name was listed in the search results but the website would not let me select her as primary care. Now her name is not listed nor is Virginia Mason (where she practices).
All this came to mind when I saw an article about Humana predicting they will lose a lot of Medicare advantage customers this Fall when they drop a lot of their benefits, the drug program changes and they have lost a lot of physician contracts. Damn right. I'm outta there for sure.
I may well end up paying full price for my upcoming visit. But Humana is still listed on their website as one they accept so, hopefully, it will only be a copay. My goal is to love this new doctor and keep not needing her until January when the new insurance kicks in. I'm not worried, I'm just alert to possibles.
Now I am going to kick back and knit and watch some TV.
