Last night I filled up the baskets on the shelf outside my door and added a sign.

This morning, two had been adopted! I am, once again, especially attached to the bears. I've tweaked the pattern. The one in the orange/yellow shirt is the latest and the best, I think.
When I got back from volleyball this morning my card key would not unlock my door. Neither would my backup card key. I tried and tried. Fuck. I called the front desk. They sent my buddy, Chad, up here really fast and, of course, he tried, with my card one time and it worked. I'm glad it was Chad. He was very gracious. He did have trouble with the other card but got it to work, too. That settles it. I'm never locking my door when I leave again. Not worth the hassle.
==========
Ok now it is later. I decided to pop over to the Dollar Tree before everyone else and while it was cool. I spent $96.26! My personal Dollar Tree best. Of course it wasn't my money totally. Mine and Myrna's and Bonny's and then Roger (who no longer has a car) chipped in. I had a blast. They way they organized this donation drive was pretty cool. Like a pot luck with assignments. The third floor was requested to donate 100 composition books and 5 rulers. Plus whatever else we wanted. I scored big at the dollar store. 3 rulers for $1.25! Plus composition books must be a real thing because they had tons of different colors and glitters. Almost no spiral bound ones (but that's the 4th floor's problem). I also got a bunch of candy colored calculators and crayons and academic planners and little notebooks. It was very fun. Then I popped into Safeway for eggs. And home.
And now it's nearly time for lunch.
