So far, this week is way better. I hopped into my suit the minute I woke up and went swimming. The sun came up and into my line of sight just as I was finishing. I think there will be only a handful of days left when the sun prevents my full swimming enjoyment.

Last night we had a wee bit more lightning and thunder but a nice strong rain storm with some serious wind. It was about 5:30 so still daylight and I was watching when one of the two umbrellas on the terrace across the way (you can still see the other one), took flight. It hung up on the roof for a bit and then went over to the to the other side of beyond...

In the middle of the night, I woke up to pee and then, before I fell back asleep, I had the thought that my new doctor needs my end of life stuff. But, the victory here is that this morning I remembered it and logged onto the portal and sent her the Medical Directive (PULL THE PLUG) and the Medical Power of Attorney. When I go in January, I'll take her a new POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) form to sign. (This is the form you post on your fridge for EMTs.)

Myrna just came in with the Possible Fraud du Jour. The timing is confusing but she had a letter from her health insurance that they wanted her phone number. It was a form letter like the ones Humana sends me constantly. For some reason one of the phone number slots on their data table is empty and it spits out the Send Junk Mail order. Of course they have her phone number. Which is the main reason she questioned the letter. I'm quite delighted that she questions stuff like this and brings it to me for verification. I told her if she was bored, she could call but that it would be frustrating and she didn't have to if she didn't want to. I showed her how she could check the number on the letter and make sure it was the same as the number on her health card (it was). We have a friend who got scammed last week so her old lady antennae are itchin'.

I have laundry in the machine and set to start so that it will be ready for folding and putting away after lunch.

The condo's HOA meeting is tonight. I'll zoom in and see what's new.
